  • How do I recycle my Chef Abruzzi packaging?
Microwavable Meals: The tray is made of pressed paper, so after being rinsed of any food residue, it can be recycled in your paper recycling box. Depending on the amount of food residue on the box, it can either be disposed of in your paper recycling, or compost bin. Clean boxes can be recycled, however if the box has food residue on it, it should go in the compost bin. The seal on the tray is the only component that cannot be recycled and should be disposed of in the garbage.
  • Do Chef Abruzzi products contain common food allergens?
Currently, all of our pasta dishes contain: wheat, eggs, and dairy. For the most up-to-date allergen information, always be sure to check the listed ingredients on our packaging.
  • Do Chef Abruzzi products contain any preservatives?
Chef Abruzzi uses freezing as a preservation method, allowing us to ensure that all of our products have absolutely NO preservatives, additives, artificial flavours, or added sugars; Just all-natural, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Is it safe to heat and eat my Chef Abruzzi product after it's been thawed?
To stay on the safe side, toss out any frozen meal that has completely thawed. Quality and food safety might be compromised depending on the time and temperature of the thawing process.
  • I followed the cooking instructions exactly but my pasta is still too cold, what do I do?"
Due to microwave ovens varying in power, you may need to heat it for a bit longer. If your entree is still cold, continue to heat in 30-second increments until it is thoroughly cooked to the minimum internal temperature listed on the product package.
